Number the Stars by Lois Lowry
Anne Marie, her sister Kristi and her friend Ellen are alive when a war is going on. The Nazis are on every corner in Denmark. The Nazis are putting all the Jewish people in jail. Ellen and her parents are Jewish. Will Ellen and her family make it to Sweden where they will be safe? I think this book deserves an award because the author uses detail and she is good at suspense.

Well, Katie, I do know the answer to your question about whether or not Ellen and her family will make it to Sweden. But I won't give it away either, so others will just have to read it for themselves!
