A Single Shard by Linda Sue Park
It is about a boy named Tree-ear, and his good friend Crane-man. Tree-ear is working for a famous potter named Min. He starts his journey when Min wants him to take two vases to Songdo. On his way two robbers throw the vases off a cliff. He reached Songdo with only a single shard to show. I think this book won an award because it takes you on an adventure as you read.

I like the adventure in this book also, Dana. It has some really sad parts, like when the robbers break the vases and when Crane-man dies. But I like the happy ending! Good choice!
ReplyDeleteI just read this book also and loved the ending.
