Martin's Big Words by Doreen Rappaport
The book, Martin's Big Words is about Martin Luther King, Jr. When he was a young discrimination was around. When Martin got older he got tired of the sign " White Only" on the best bathroom, the best restaurant, and the test seat in the theater. I think this book deserves an award because it teaches you a lesson about what happens in the old days.

This book did win an award for the best picture book. It was a Caldecott honor book. I am glad that you enjoyed it. We have several biographies on Martin Luther King, Jr. that you may enjoy.
